Meet Jerry Crouth

Jerry has been a local area Albany/Saratoga Springs, NY radio host for over twenty five years.  His on-air career began in Saratoga Springs in August, 1998 when John Meaney hired him as DJ and Marketing Executive on Saratoga’s WKAJ AM 900.  In February, 2001, Jerry joined Anastos Media as a Marketing Executive and continued airing his WKAJ “Sentimental Journey” weekday show on WABY in Malta, NY.  He remained on WABY after Anastos Media was purchased in 2012 and renamed Empire Broadcasting Corporation. He stayed on-air until the station ceased operation in March, 2018.

Jerry returned to the Saratoga Springs airways in 2020 as Account Executive and DJ on Star Radio 93.3, owned by Loud Media, taking requests and playing trivia with listeners on his Saturday morning “50s – 60s Show”. He remained on 93.3 Lake FM, since September, 2024, hosting his “Oldies Show” with the same format, except that it now featured 60s and 70s hits.  His Loud Media “Oldies Show” can now be heard on Saratoga's Star Radio on Saturday mornings from 8-10 am, and 104XTY every Sunday from 10am-Noon and an 6pm-8pm
